China Flexes Muscles With This Massive Building

You won't believe what this statue looking building really is.

This statue was build in Jingzhou, China.
2.
Slowly it turned out to be Guan Yu- the Chinese god of war.

It was finished this July.
4.
It's said to be 190ft high and weights about 2900000 pounds.

It looks like a statue to this guy that you may know from the Dynasty Warriors games...

...but it isn't a statue!

It is a building!

You can see the building underneath his feet, the base of the statue is really a museum. China wanted to show off badly. By the way the giant statue/museum was build from taxes, what a costly way to flex muscle for a country with so much poverty, don't you think?
